Products Inspired by the voices of Long Island

The creation of Island Speaks began with writing music inspired by the beautiful soul of Long Island visible in its nature, its people, and its atmosphere. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to capture this soul through another medium as well, photography. As I started taking photos, I came up with the idea to anthropomorphize these inanimate and animate objects and give them a voice of their own, so that others could experience the emotions this island evokes through poems which communicate the perspective of nature. The combination of all of these elements culminated in the creation of clothing products and coffee mugs which allow others to experience the same beauty which has captivated me my entire life, and hear the unspoken ‘voices’ of these natural elements through my music, my photography, and my poetry.
